Dr. Anthony Kwame Mensah has over 30 years of experience across 8 different industries – Healthcare, Education, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Finance, Transportation, and Insurance – across three (3) continents.

He is also an astute Entrepreneur. He has worked as a Central Sterile Processing Technician with University Hospital (Newark, New Jersey), Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and Mountainside Hospital (volunteer) in Montclair, New Jersey. At the management level, he has worked at Staten Island University Hospital in New York, the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore-Maryland, and Elmhurst Hospital in New York all in the United States of America. He has also worked with Altice USA (Optimum/Cablevision) as a Technical Support Representative.
He had previously worked as a Business Developer at The Coca-Cola Bottling Company Ghana Limited, Territory Manager at Vodafone Ghana, Inter-Regional Manager Glo Mobile Ghana Communication, and Sales and Distributor Manager at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited. He has over ten (10) years of professional experience as a trained tutor at basic and high school levels in Ghana and over seven (7) years’ experience in Healthcare Central Sterile Processing and Data Analysis Online Training.
Academically, Dr. Mensah has a Ph.D. in Data Science with a specialization in Business and Healthcare Analytics from National University in California, United States of America. He also has an MSc in Data Science with Specialization in Business Analytics from Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey-USA, an MBA in Finance from Central University in Ghana, and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has also acquired post-graduate certifications in Healthcare Analytics from the University of California – Davis in the USA, SAS Computer Programming, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Scrum Master, Six Sigma, Certified Insurance Producer/Financial Advisor (Health, Accident and Life) with 9 US States and possesses all relevant certificates from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Associate (HSPA), formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) - Certification in Healthcare Leadership (CHL), Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) and Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). He has immense experience in using six surgical instrument tracking systems – Abacus, Censitrac, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM), Integra, and SynergyTrak. He is also well versed in SQL, Python, SAS, R, and Tableau in computer programming and data analysis.
In addition, Dr. Mensah is a member of the United States’ National Association for Healthcare Quality® (NAHQ). He is also a Data Science Consultant with specialization in Medicare, Medicaid and Market Place Insurance.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Mensah is the key representative of the BreakThrough Academy Corporation, located in the New Jersey in the United States of America. He communicates important decisions to business stakeholders and manages the corporations’ overall development. He also makes strategic and financial decisions that determine the trajectory of the corporation.
At the forefront, Dr. Mensah is the main tutor for both the Healthcare Central Sterile Processing and the Data Analyst courses. His immense experience as a Certified Healthcare Leader and PhD in Data Science makes him an ideal professional to guide you to the next level of your career. In the field of religion, Dr. Mensah is a devout Christian who worships with Ghana Calvary United Methodist Church (GCUMC) in New Jersey currently serves as the Lay Leader of the Church. He is also a Certified Lay Servant and a Certified Lay Minister candidate under United Methodist Church and currently enrolled in Master of Divinity at Drew University in New Jersey for training to become a(n) Reverend/Ordained Minister.
